Meet Elissa:  Registered Massage Therapist

Elissa is the newest addition to our Thrive family and has quickly become an essential team member! We are thrilled to have her positive, client centred practice in our space.

Elissa has been registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario since 2013 after graduating from Trillium College.

Since then, she has also received additional certification in Myofascial Cupping technique which sheincorporates into her treatments for clients of all ages and athletic abilities.

While working in Burlington over many years, Elissa has been honoured with multiple Readers Choice awards for her practice as an RMT.

Elissa’s keen interest in anatomy stems from her longstanding passion for sports and movement. She continues to use this passion, along with her knowledge and advanced skill set to assess and treat each client individually. Her ongoing learning allows her to better customize each clients treatment to their needs, with options for everything from relaxation to deep tissue treatment, adding in her additional techniques as indicated and conducive to the desired therapeutic result.

In her spare time, Elissa can often be found enjoying nature with her husband and fur baby, Gatsby, the family dog. Anyone who knows Elissa will tell you she is a huge dog lover and she spends most of her spare time raising and training service dogs! She is a big advocate for taking care of yourself physically, mentally and emotionally and is honoured to be a part of your whole wellness journey.
