Let’s talk about TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine)

TCM is a healing art and science comprised of many modalities. 

Acupuncture: the use of needles inserted into any of over 300 points on the body to move Qi, promote metabolic functions and relieve pain.

Herbal Medicine: formulations made up of plants, animals, and minerals to balance the organs functions.

Guasha: scraping the skins surface with a ceramic, stone, bone, or metal tool to improve circulation,  ease pain and tension. 

Cupping: using glass cups and fire to create suction on the skin. This helps warm the meridians, ease muscle tension and aid the immune system. 

Moxibustion: a warming therapy by burning mugwort to improve circulation and dispel cold.
