Adriana’s warm and generous heart has brought an uplifting and loving presence into our Thrive space and is part of what she brings into her practice everyday. Her kind and caring nature is a wonderful addition to the team. We are grateful that Adriana has joined Thrive, so that we are better able to offer additional mental wellness to our community.

Adriana is Registered Psychotherapist (RP) committed to helping her clients gain valuable insight and awareness into the various issues that they may be struggling with. She abides by the mantra that “Change starts with You, but it doesn’t start until you do….” -Tom Ziglar.

Through the development of a strong and collaborative therapeutic relationship, Adriana will help guide you in building the crucial awareness needed to initiate change, facilitate this change by providing a safe and highly compassionate environment to observe and discover your core self, and encourage and adopt an integrative approach to your healing and growth.

Adriana is a trained Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists (CRPO) and she is a member in good standing the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists, and Psychotherapists (OACCPP). She received her B.A in Psychology from York University and her M.A in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.

She has been working in private practice since 2011, specializing in the treatment of anxiety, depression and self-esteem related challenges. She also has vast experience in treating trauma, stress-management, anger management, substance abuse, disordered eating, interpersonal issues and any other difficulties related to an individuals’ unhappiness and lack of meaning/purpose in life. Adriana also offers training in assertiveness, conflict resolution and strength-based parenting.

By working within a solution-focused and cognitive-behavioural approach, Adriana helps her clients gain the opportunity to become skilled at managing and coping with the negative thoughts and behaviours that are preventing them from living the life they desire. When combined with a client-centered and emotions-focused approach, individuals further have a chance to both explore and discover the underlying sources of their long-standing issues, to develop a strong sense of their intrinsic selves, and to become the vital source of meaningful change in their lives.

Adriana is extremely passionate and dedicated to helping her clients honour all parts of themselves, understanding that self-worth is a very fragile part of each and every individual and it must to be handled with extreme care and compassion. She believes that in working from the inside out, self-worth and confidence builds alongside the therapeutic journey, initiating self-love, self-acceptance and the realization that we already have within us all we need to change.

Adriana is now accepting new clients and can be reached at: to book.
