Meet Dr. Clive Clutton: Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Clive has been an amazing balance to our team bringing a unique whole-body integral approach to chiropractic care that fits perfectly into our team of professionals. His passion for wellness, love of food, and awesome sense of humour has been a wonderful addition to Thrive. We are fortunate to have him on our team.

Dr. Clutton is a Doctor of Chiropractic, practicing an individualized, evidence-informed approach to all patients to not only correct current problems, but also prevent future re-injury and optimize function depending on patient goals. Each patient receives a personal tailored treatment that includes passive care, functional progressive rehabilitation and patient education. Dr. Clutton works cooperatively with other Health Professionals and the rest of his clinic team having each patient’s best interest in mind. It is his personal goal to have every patient healthy, happy and strong.

Dr. Clutton graduated from York University with an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences with a special interest in Biomechanics. During this time, he also worked as a Personal Trainer and a Strength and Conditioning Coach working with recreational athletes. He then went on to obtain his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC).

During his time at CMCC, he continued to cultivate his passion for treating and training athletic movement. Dr. Clutton went on to become Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, a full body Active Release Techniques (ART®) provider, Functional Range Release (FR®) provider, a Function Range Conditioning (FRC®) Specialist, Integrated Patterning Movement and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) training and recently added Contemporary Medical Acupuncture (Neurofunctional Acupuncture) to his practice.

Currently Dr. Clutton constantly develops his professional knowledge and skills through research, courses, teaching and his own physical fitness practice.

If Dr. Clutton is not engaged in some physical movement or exercise, or spending time with his lovely wife, he is indulging in his love of food.
