Can I get a massage after International Travel?

We are maintaining the 14 day wait period with the exception that independent practitioners, may at their discretion, see clients/patients in more immediate need of care within the 14 day wait period if they feel it is warranted and based on the persons screening. We will continue to follow all the ongoing cleaning and sanitizing standards and maintain our current PPE guidelines in the clinic space and in treatment with clients.  Regardless of vaccination status, masks will continue to be worn in the clinic space and for the duration of an appointment.

Our COVID-19 PRE-SCREENING

By attending my appointment:

I agree that I am not currently experiencing any of these symptoms:

Fever and/or chills
New onset of cough or worsening chronic cough
Shortness of breath
Decrease or loss of sense of taste or smell
If adult >18 years of age: unexplained fatigue/lethargy/malaise/muscle aches (myalgias)
If child <18 years of age: nausea/vomiting, diarrhea
*Please not that as of August 26, 2021, the MOH has updated the patient screening guideline to reflect the vaccination status of a client/patient.

According to the MOS, fully vaccinated people with a negative test are no longer required to isolate upon return from international travel.

However, we will continue to maintain the 14 day wait period for clients upon return from international travel, prior to coming in for an appointment to ensure the well being of our team.

Our practitioners, at their discretion, may choose to see a client/patient requiring more immediate treatment within the 14 day wait period. Please contact your Health Care Practitioner or the clinic directly prior to booking if this is your situation.

I agree that regardless of my vaccination status, I have not:

Traveled outside of Canada in the past 14 days
Tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 10 days or have they been told that I should be isolating
Knowingly been exposed to someone with COVID-19 without proper wearing proper PPE
Knowingly been exposed to someone who is currently awaiting test results for COVID-19
Recently traveled to an area with a high infection rate
If you have experienced any of the above, please reschedule your appointment at least 14 days from now.

Thank you!
