Chiropractic Care in Burlington

Chiropractic

At Thrive Massage Therapy & Wellness, chiropractic care is provided by Dr. Clive Clutton, Doctor of Chiropractic. His approach is comprehensive and individualized, with treatment based on each patient’s specific concerns, assessment findings and goals.

Chiropractic care focuses on the assessment, diagnosis and conservative treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. Depending on the individual, treatment may incorporate hands-on care, movement and mobility work, progressive rehabilitation, exercise and patient education.

Dr. Clutton’s approach extends beyond addressing symptoms alone. Treatment is designed to help patients better understand what may be contributing to their pain or movement concerns, improve function and mobility, and develop strategies that support longer-term recovery and physical health.

New Patients please call to book.

What Can Chiropractic Care Help With?

Chiropractic care can support a wide range of musculoskeletal concerns, injuries and movement-related issues. Depending on your individual needs, you may seek chiropractic care for:

  • Back pain
  • Neck pain and stiffness
  • Headaches
  • Muscle and joint pain
  • Acute or recurring injuries
  • Sports and activity-related injuries
  • Chronic pain or discomfort
  • Mobility and movement restrictions
  • Rehabilitation following injury
  • Improving strength, movement and physical performance

Treatment Approaches

Chiropractic treatment at Thrive is individualized based on your assessment, needs and treatment goals. Dr. Clutton may incorporate a combination of hands-on care, movement-based treatment, rehabilitation and exercise as appropriate.

Treatment approaches may include:

  • Manual Therapy & Joint Mobilization — including soft tissue techniques, myofascial release, joint mobilization or manipulation.
  • Active Release Techniques® (ART®) — a hands-on approach used to assess and treat muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and other soft tissues.
  • Functional Range Conditioning® (FRC®) & Functional Range Release® (FR®) — approaches focused on joint health, mobility and improving movement.
  • Neurofunctional Acupuncture — which may be incorporated to address neuromuscular and musculoskeletal concerns.
  • Rehabilitation & Exercise — including mobility work, strengthening and progressive rehabilitation to support recovery and function.

This comprehensive approach allows treatment to be tailored to the individual rather than relying on any single technique, with a focus on improving movement, function and long-term physical health.
