We hope that this update finds you all well, enjoying the beautiful weather and staying positive.
At this time we have no communication with regards to our clinic opening. Our regulating bodies cannot give any guidance until the province provides some direction. We don’t know if Registered Massage Therapy, (non-emergency) Chiropractic or Osteopathic care will be included in the next Phase of the provincial framework, but we remain hopeful. With the first 4 weeks of Phase 1 coming to an end mid-June, we hope to have more information by that time regarding timing for our practitioners ability to work and our clinic opening its doors.
** Our Temporary closure continues until June 15th, at which time, with the most recent information and government/governing body guidelines, we will reconnect with our next steps **
Please remember that although Health Care Practitioners like us may fall within one of the upcoming “Phases” of reopening, what that looks like and the new protocols and procedures that are created, will change how we provide care. Please rest assured that we as a team, are ahead of the curve, implementing safety measures such as acrylic “sneeze guard” stands at the desk, ordering stock of masks/gloves and creating updated standards of care for everything from disinfecting surfaces to laundering linens. Sanitization stations, physical distancing seating, limited number of people in the space at one time and increased time between clients are just some of the new standards that you will see implemented. We have your, and our, health interests at heart and will stay current and effective in our goal to reopen and provide care ASAP.
Changes in appointments will include a pre-screening COVID-19 checklist included in your email reminder. If you opt out of these, our reception team will be connecting with you prior to your appointment to review.
While we don’t yet know the full extent of the changes to come, we are aiming to be ready to go when the time arrives!
Please feel free to connect with your health care provider if you would like to be added to their wait list for upcoming appointments. Although we will not be booking any firm appointments until we know what new protocols/regulations allow us to do, we can add you to our list for communication when we can book appointments once again!
Please note we WILL update you if there are changes in the timeline to any of these services before June 15th.
** If you have wellness appointments booked up to June 15th, please assume they will be cancelled, but do look for communication from your health care practitioners as they will connect with each of you individually to confirm that you are aware of the most recent changes and to check in to see how you are doing!
Registered Psychotherapy:
The return to in-person therapy was a part of the Phase 1 provincial framework however therapists have been urged by their college to continue virtual therapy as long as possible for those clients who can use this option with success. Adriana will continue to see clients virtually however, in-person therapy will resume soon with more limited availability. Connect with Adriana to discuss options for virtual/in-person Registered Psychotherapy appointments.
These are unprecedented times and it is normal to struggle with overwhelm and ever changing emotions. We are here to help you stay connected and to help you move through the uncertainty of the days ahead and the continued every day concerns you might be facing.
