What do you love about your profession?
People! I love meeting new people, getting to know them and genuinely enjoy helping to reduce pain, stress, and supporting anyone in their health journey.
2. Why did you become an RMT?
Work/Life balance. I enjoyed an amazing career in sales and merchandising. I loved the high pressure, the travel, and the incredible experiences I was able to have. I was ready for a new chapter that would allow me to be home to spend more time with my husband, my hobbies, and just learning to slow down.
3. Do you have any additional training as an RMT that people might want to know? Yes! I have taken a cupping course, reflexology, manual lymph drainage and Champi massage (Indian head massage).
4. If you weren’t an RMT, what would you be? Definitely something creative. I have an Art and design background, so probably related to interior design or even go back to my roots as a window dresser.
5. Tell us one thing you are passionate about outside of your work 🙂
Nature. I love going for a long hike in the woods, spending an afternoon wondering around the latest RBG exhibit and enjoying the sights, and sounds of the wildlife in our area.
Bonus question: Favourite food?
Indian, hands down. Authentic butter chicken, spicy curries, warm naan, aromatic rice is pure heaven to me.
